The Naruko Gorge Take Two

Wednesday, November 3rd was a national holiday (Culture Day). So I did not have work.
I went back to the gorge with Will and Nicole because they didn't get to go with me the first time. This time the weather was alternating between blue skies and heavy rain, but I was able to get some pictures of the gorge when the sun was out. We walked all the way down to the bottom and got some pictures, too. There was even a rainbow when we first arrived because it had just stopped raining for a couple of minutes and the sun came out.

We also went to central Naruko to eat lunch and found a great little bakery that had delicious pastries and tarts. I took some pictures at a gift shop of the Kokeshi dolls that are famous in this area. They come in all shapes and sizes.

We also went on a little adventure following a sign that lead to a lake and found a beautiful area up in the mountains next to a country club.
